Mid Illinois Ghost Society was founded in April 2006 by three women with an interest in seeking answers for the unknown. One had experienced unexplained happenings since childhood; one had extensive experience and passion for genealogical and historical research; one was seeking the adventure. The three, together, came up with the idea to start a team -- and  MIGS was born!  Over the years we have had several people interested in the group and joined the team;  others that have moved on to different interests. Only one of the original founding members remains a part of our team. MIGS consists of both seasoned members that have been around since almost the beginning of the group, as well as newer members that have already proved to be valuable assets to our team.
